Which processes can AI help with?
Updated October 27, 2026 · NouCodi
The useful question is not "what can AI do" but "which processes in my company repeat so often that they are worth improving". These are the most common ones, area by area, and the signs of a good candidate.
Marketing
- Content: drafts of posts, articles or newsletters from your ideas and the month's real cases.
- Replies on social media and email: suggested answers to the questions that keep coming back.
Sales
- Handling leads: capturing the details of whoever asks, organizing them and alerting the salesperson.
- Quotes and proposals: the draft comes from a template and the details of the visit or the call.
- Follow-up: reminders to people who have not answered a quote, at the right time.
Service delivery
- Collecting client information: asking for what is missing, checking it arrived complete and flagging it if not.
- Repetitive checks: making sure the numbers add up before delivering.
- Client communication: progress summaries and answers to the usual questions.
Administration
- Invoicing and collections: invoices that go out on their own when a job closes and automatic payment reminders.
- Expenses and documents: reading invoices and receipts and entering their data in your accounting software.
- Bank reconciliation: suggesting which transaction matches each invoice.
- People: digital timesheets, time off and paperwork for new hires.
How to spot a good candidate
A process is worth it if it shows several of these signs:
- It repeats many times a month.
- Someone copies data from one place to another.
- Information arrives in documents, photos or emails that have to be read.
- You have to wait, remind or chase someone.
- It always breaks at the same point, or depends on one person remembering.
Where it is not worth it yet
- Processes that happen a few times a year: the savings do not pay for the setup.
- Decisions that depend on a person's judgment and experience.
- Physical work (visits, installations, in-person service), except for the part of logging and notifying.
The first step
Map how each process is done today: who does it, with what and how long it takes. Without that map, any tool is a gamble. In the audit we do it with your team and tell you, process by process, where AI helps and how much time it frees up.
